Explore how CODONIS LWZ optimizes orofacial therapy for you
Orofacial myofunctional dysfunctions can affect anyone, at any age, and they are more common than you might think. Individuals grappling with these conditions face a range of symptoms, from childhood to old age.
Children with orofacial myofunctional issues often exhibit characteristic appearances such as an open mouth posture with dry, chapped lips, tongue thrust during swallowing and speaking (commonly known as “interdental lisp”), and difficulty controlling saliva. Unfortunately, this constant mouth opening can lead to increased susceptibility to infections, dental problems, and even misalignments due to improper tongue function.
For decades, Dr. h.c Susanne Codoni has dedicated her life to understanding and assisting individuals suffering from orofacial myofunctional issues. Her extensive commitment and effort elicited a crucial need for an active therapy targeting the perioral muscles. However, no satisfying solutions were available. Driven by her passion to make a difference, she developed new treatment approaches and finally also founded CODONIS AG to offer appropriate solutions.
The result of her indefatigable pursuit? The CODONIS LWZ, a groundbreaking medical device designed to optimize orofacial myofunctional therapy. Crafted with precision, this Swiss-made product features an anatomical design and a muscle-activating nodular structure. Utilizing TPE polymer, it provides the top of Swiss design and craftsmanship, with every unit manufactured entirely in Switzerland.
Using CODONIS LWZ is simple.
Insert it behind your lips, close the lips gently and let the therapy begin. It can be used anytime, anywhere according the prepared therapy plan, making it a flexible solution for individuals seeking relief from orofacial myofunctional dysfunctions.
